The NeatConnect scanner transforms paper into digital files and sends them straight to the cloud — without a computer. At home or at the office, the wireless NeatConnect sends your files straight to Neat, email, cloud services, and wherever else they need to be. The challenge was to take a something highly utilitarian and inject it with a bit of brand personality, through both a form factor revamp and designs for the embedded display UI and UX. My main contributions were to the UX design and visual execution, but I also influenced the design of the hardware through the recommendation of the screen orientation. The result was a unified "phygital" creation, with adorable results. My first foray into physical/digital convergence!
