Westfield Digital Storefronts

The Digital Storefront was like a sleek, interactive lookbook. These 7-foot tall, ultra-high definition (4k) touch-screens allowed visitors to discover new products offered by retailers at the shopping center in real time. Beautiful images were rotated on the screens, and visitors were able to approach and engage with the displays with the touch of a finger. By scrolling, zooming and rotating through the retailer curated collections, visitors could find shopping inspiration and even display a map of exactly where individual products were found in the mall - a precursor to our Digital Directories & Wayfinding. I co-created the user-experience, created scenario scripts, rough story thumbnails, and collaborated with our engineering vendor on installation and interaction best practices. Additionally, I personally met with Vince Camuto, Kiko, and other retail partners to discuss image resolution and content requirements.  All the photography below is my own and appeared in Fast Company as part of the launch of the Digital Storefronts.

Video Demonstration

This videos shows the displays as a work is still in progress. You can see the engineer's laptop bottom right.  I'm no actor but I endorse this product.
